Located in the quaint village of kunnumbata, the house is filled with old world charm and legacy ( the caretakers are more than happy to share the stories of the place). The first thing you will notice when you get there is how well and clean every thing is maintained. The bed and bath are immaculately clean. Bala sir is always available on call to help with anything and everything. He gave me excellent travel tips and even invited me to his home for warm home made food. His home is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful houses i have seen, which is also available for homestay under the name of "Namaha". Overall, it had been one of the most pleasurable stays i have ever had. Definitely gonna come back.

The place is a little out of the way from the main town centers, but is very well kept, and close to plenty of hiking opportunities. K.G. was perhaps the best host I've ever had, and even drove me into the main town on multiple occasions! I had a great stay all around, and K.G. also provided many helpful suggestions. My only suggestion is that anyone planning to stay here should bring their own towels, but all around it was an amazing place, and one I would visit again!
